Gloucester photos...

I found this neat mural on the side of a Dunkin Doughnuts in Gloucester, and this Mermaid graced the outside of a store.

Goofing off...Sat 9/20/08

I've been looking forward to this weekend all week because I was planning to really knuckle down to making more jewelry and items to sell at the Ipswich Art Show at EBSCO, the 27th the 28th. So what do I do? I jump at the suggestion to take a drive up to Gloucester and walk around. It was just such a lovely day today. It seemed wrong to stay inside.

Anyway, Kevin and I went to Gloucester and we walked the main drag. There were some interesting stores with antiques & handcrafts and we ended up in a store called Mystery Train...a used music store. Neat. I have to admit that I knew very few of the artists they were selling, but it was fun to look. I came out with a couple of CDs and so did Kev. I picked up Enya - A day with out rain and an old Madonna CD. The prices are good in there so if you like music I suggest you check it out. OH...If you are into collecting vinyl they have a ton.

Magic Wings - Butterfly Conservatory & Gardens

Last Summer we visited this butterfly place, and I loved the experience. I took lots of photos and several are among my favorites.
