Linda's Jewelry Nook

My jewelry is in a little nook as you come in the room on the left. It is lit up with holiday lights and looks inviting. Feel free to try on my jewelry. There's a mirror provided, too.

I have 58 pieces in this show. Prices range from $18 to $186.

There are rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I'm featuring my silver wire bracelets with artisan lampwork beads from the United States, my "Gypsy Mermaid Necklaces, my new enamel work, and classy black and silver bracelets from my "Tuxedo Lady" collection and more.

Below are a few examples of my jewelry in the Craft Fair.

This a bracelet from my "Tuxedo Lady" line of jewelry.

This necklace is a stunner. The beads between the silver discs are iridescent and they seem to change color as they catch the light.

Sterling and Sarwovski crystal earrings.

Fall Art Show - Danvers Art Association

The Danvers Art Association had it's Fall Art Show this weekend.

Below are photos from the Friday night reception.

I was happy to learn I had received a ribbon for my watercolor "Winter Home." Last year, I received 2nd place for my Gypsy Mermaid Bracelet which is pictured below.

My dear friend Katey and my daughter Heather accompanied me to the reception. There were plenty of yummy goodies to be enjoyed along with wine, cider and coffee & tea. The chocolate mint layer cake was great as was the chocolate cake with cherry frosting. I loved the Mexican dip, too. Yum!

The above watercolor painting is the other painting I entered. It is titled "Northern Light"
A lot of people seemed to like it because it's different.

Katey Brennen and her lovely acrylic painting.

The Orange Flower painting on the right is also one of Kateys' paintings.

The Sailing Ship won Best in Show...

Pumpkin Fest - Keen NH 2009

Last weekend we took a three hour drive up to Keene, NH where they had an amazing Pumpkin Festival.

We were awed at the amount of people that were there on a cloudy day. People were still bringing in pumpkins when we arrived, and kids were busy carving more. Tons of people were piling in to the town to see the carvings, eat food and drink pumpkin beer. It was difficult to walk because of the crowd.

Musicians were playing music, and there would be fireworks at 8:30 PM. You couldn't drive into town, you had to take a bus because no were cars allowed in the square. The crowd was huge already at 3:30 when we arrived.

We came up to get my jewelry from a local boutique. We didn't stay long because the crowd was overwhelming. On the way home we stopped at a neat Internet Cafe on the outskirts of Keene. Great vegetarian food and good coffee.
