Blast From the Past Diner - Waterboro, Maine

Blast From the Past Diner...

Here are photos of a super diner we discovered on our trip home from Maine this weekend. It was a worthy stop and the prices were great.

We had coffee, ice cream and carrot cake, and it was delicious. I'd go there again just to try more of the food. This place was retro and clean as a whistle. It was full of wonderful antique framed car adds and it had neat miniature lighted buildings....lots of glass blocks which reflected the red and white tiles and all the polished chrome. It was spacious for a diner, too.

I took pics of the reflections in the glass blocks. I loved this place!

This is a photo of the table tops in the booths. Just sooooo retro!

Of course, there had to be a gum ball machine shaped like a rocket to go with the sign and name of the diner! And, there was a large jute box, but unfortunately it was out of order right now.

Oh, and some of the cars in the parking lot were awesome, too.
